Adobe Foundation To Launch Technology Programs for Students, Teachers

The Adobe Foundation is expanding its Adobe Youth Voices program into new areas in 2009. These include new initiatives to train teachers and students on the use of technologies, as well as a partnership with the Ad Council to collaborate on a dropout prevention campaign called "Boost."

Oklahoma District Takes to Web-based Data Collection

Jenks Public Schools in Oklahoma is implementing a Web-based data gathering system throughout the district to help with reporting on student performance on state tests, as well as district pre- and post- tests. The system will be used to help monitor student performance and report the information to teacher to help them focus on students' weak spots.

2008 Speak Up Survey Focuses on 21st Century Learning

Project Tomorrow recently kicked off Speak Up 2008, the latest annual survey focused on the national discussion about 21st century education. Since opening last week, the survey has received more than 12,000 responses, an increase of about 37 percent over the same time period in last year's survey.
