GSA Awards Schedule 70 Contract to Online Educational Library

Teachers, administrators, and other government employees now have access to the continuing education products in the online digital library of Safari Books Online, thanks to a contract awarded to the company by the General Services Administration.

The GSA Schedule 70 contract allows federal, state, and local government agencies, including school districts, to acquire IT products and services at negotiated, pre-determined rates. The Schedule 70 contract with Safari runs through 2013.

Safari Books Online offers digital book and video content from a variety of educational publishers, including Prentice Hall Professional, Microsoft Press, Course Technology, Peachpit Press, John Wiley & Sons, Elsevier, Adobe Press, Apple Certified, and several others.
