Luidia Upgrades Interactive Whiteboard Features

Luidia has announced enhancements to the software included with its eBeam Edge for Education interactive whiteboard technology, as well as its new offer of a seven-year warranty on all eBeam Edge products.

The company has expanded the educational content and curriculum tools included with the software to allow teachers greater ease and flexibility in preparing classroom discussions and activities using the whiteboard system.

In addition, the interactive software eBeam Scrapbook, bundled with Edge products for expanded visual and multimedia options when using the whiteboard technology, now offers a much larger array of content and tools in its Gallery component, as well as built-in links to thousands of educational Web sites, searchable by topic, area of interest, and more specific items. And all Gallery content has been reorganized into subject folders that are designed to be easier to use than in previous versions.

Finally, the enhanced software offers additional graphic elements, such as animation, graphs and maps, that can be combined with multimedia content from the Encyclopaedia Britannica Ultimate Reference Suite, included at no additional charge.

More details about the whiteboard technology and software components and enhancements can be found here.
