Brief: Utility Converts Books to EPUB Format
Assistive technology developer Don Johnston Inc. has released a new tool that allows users to convert electronic books to the EPUB format, used by Android and iOS devices, among other electronic book readers and tablet devices.
Dubbed DAISYtoEPUB, the software converts three different formats to the more widely supported EPUB format: DAISY, NIMAS, and Bookshare. It supports the conversion of embedded images as well.
DAISYtoEPUB is available now for $99 for a single seat, with prices ranging from $999 to $6,999 for unlimited district licenses, depending on the number of sites in the district. It supports Mac OS X and Windows systems. Further information can be found here.
