Balefire Labs Introduces a 'Search by CCSS' Function

Balefire Labs, a provider of pre-K to 12 educational app reviews for teachers and parents, announced today the launch of a feature allowing users to search by Common Core State Standard (CCSS).

According to Karen L. Mahon, president and founder of Balefire Labs, as of today the Balefire website has full coverage of the math standards for kindergarten through eighth grade. Mahon said, "Our goal is to get better and better coverage of all of the standards so that every teacher's needs are met." 

Balefire Labs has published more than 1,500 app reviews to date for pre-K through 12th grade, covering math, English language arts, science and social studies. Apps that have earned a letter grade of A through C, according to the Balefire Labs research-based criteria, are aligned to CCSS by Balefire Labs staff. According to the company, at least 100 new app reviews will be added to the website every month.
