Edgenuity Launches Personalized Math, Reading Platform

Edgenuity has unveiled Edgenuity MyPath, a program designed to offer supplemental math and reading instruction for students in grades 6-12.

Available for the 2014-2015 school year, Edgenuity MyPath can be customized to an individual student's skill and comprehension level and is suitable for remediation, enrichment, or grade-level support.

"Edgenuity MyPath includes a placement test to determine the best Individualized Learning Path for each student," according to a company news release. "Edgenuity's school partners can also use the Northwest Evaluation Association (NWEA) program to import their NWEA MAP data and develop recommendations based on student performance information they already have."

"Customizing the learning experience to every student's unique needs is one of the most effective ways to engage students and help them succeed academically," said Sari Factor, CEO of Edgenuity, in a prepared statement. "Edgenuity MyPath also underscores how technology can be a valuable partner to today's teachers, providing data-driven insights and differentiated instructional support to meet the needs and abilities of each student."
