Solidoodle Releases 3D Printer Program for Education

3D printer manufacturer Solidoodle has released two packages designed for the education market. The packages have been launched under the umbrella program Solidoodle U.

The Solidoodle 4 package includes the Solidoodle 4 printer -- with new extruder design -- and two 2-lbs spools of filament. The Solidoodle 3 package comes with the company's open design printers and one 2-lb spool of filament. Both packages include access to an online library of curriculum and Solidoodles.com, a file sharing site where educators can host and share 3D models and lessons plans.

The Solidoodle 4 package is available for $899. The Solidoodle 3 package is available for $699. For additional information, visit the company's web site.
