PowerSchool Launches Badging System for Partners

PowerSchool has launched a new badging system for its partners in an effort to help users better understand the capabilities and depth of integration between the student information system and independent software vendors' (ISV) products.

The new program, dubbed the PowerSchool ISV Partner Badging System, comprises three levels, including single sign on, data exchange and seamless user experience.

"ISV partners complete an integration verification process to become certified for one or more of the three available ISV partner badges," according to a news release. "To become certified, ISV partners must complete testing integration, complete an online integration survey, and meet with a PowerSchool solutions engineer or developer for final testing. Several ISV partners have already achieved certification within the first weeks of the program."

ISVs that have already received certification include Blackboard, Instructure and SRC Solutions, among others.

"To improve quality of education in schools and home we need technology and content solutions integrated seamlessly and contextually, providing the most relevant information and content that benefits teachers, students, parents and school administrators," said Hardeep Gulati, CEO at PowerSchool, in a prepared statement. "We are opening our differentiated platform and multiple levels of partnering framework to not just K-12 technology solutions, but also to content and supplemental service partners to enable effective solutions to the largest K12 community of schools and students in the world."
