Skyward Launches Education Management System

Skyward, a company that offers a student information system (SIS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP)  platform for schools, has launched Qmlativ, a combined SIS and ERP that the company has described as an education management system.

In development for more than six years and installed at early adopting districts since 2014, the SQL-based platform offers a simplified interface, a built-in report writer, flexible architecture for no-fee customizations, embedded workflow and customization tools and a help center with intelligent search, interactive flowcharts and multimedia tutorials.

"Qmlativ is truly the epitome of a better SIS and ERP experience," said Skyward CEO Cliff King in a prepared statement. "We are excited to deliver this next-generation, user-focused technology to support the ever-changing needs of our clients and emerging trends in education."

The company will continue to support its existing product lines, according to a news release.

"As always, we are fully committed to meeting the expectations of our existing clients," said Scott Glinski, Skyward president, in a prepared statement. "We will continue to make regular enhancements and functionality improvements to our current system just like we always have throughout our previous major releases."
