Sprint Opens Donation Portal for 1Million Project

Sprint today has launched an online donation portal for individuals who want to help provide mobile devices and high-speed wireless internet connection to 1 million high school students in the United States. As part of its 1Million Project, Sprint is distributing devices to 4,000 students in 11 cities this month. The telecommunications company said in a statement that the multi-year initiative addresses the digital divide and aims to close the homework gap for students from low-income families.
