GoEnnounce, a new social media education platform that lets middle and high school students build e-portfolios and establish their personal brand online, has expanded into 20 states nationwide, according to a company announcement. Courses on the platform cover everything from digital literacy to digital copyright to cyberbullying. The platform addresses social media issues schools often face by changing the conversation to encourage positive social media behavior, while fulfilling district accountability needs of tracking graduation requirements. It also offers social media training curriculum for educators to implement GoEnnounce via a digital citizenship curriculum.
