Google Launches Educator App Hub

Google is announcing more ways to help teachers improve their instruction practices through the Chromebook App Hub. The online resource is now available for Chromebook users to find apps that directly relate to their instructional needs.

Educators can now discover apps for their lessons and IT administrators and curriculum designers can identify effective tools for their schools. Developers will also be available to reach out to educators to help them understand the benefits of using their apps.

Google Launches Educator App Hub

Through using the App Hub, teachers will be able to gather ideas on how to use apps in the classroom. Google is working with EdTechTeam and educators to provide tips for success, differentiated instruction strategies and links to additional resources.

Google is working with its partners such as Epic!, Adobe Spark and Khan Academy to provide a variety of solutions for teachers to utilize. Google is also working with the Student Data Privacy Consortium to assist developers with considering the student privacy implications of their products.

More information about on how Chromebooks are being used in schools can be found here.
