Teaching Strategies Acquires Parent Engagement Platform

Teaching Strategies, a provider of early childhood technology solutions, has entered into an agreement to acquire ReadyRosie, a platform designed to improve parent-teacher communications.

ReadyRosie enables educators to securely communicate with families and provide research-based content to help parents extend the learning experience beyond the classroom. Parents can access over 1,000 video tutorials targeted toward infants and toddlers, preschoolers and elementary school learners.

ReadyRosie also facilitates interactive workshops to enable families to practice parenting skills among their peers. To facilitate the most effective engagement strategies, administrators and teachers have access to data dashboards to track parent engagement.

"Strong connections between home and school are an essential component of high-quality early learning programs. Programs across the country have implemented ReadyRosie to create the opportunity for all children in their community to be ready for school--and we've found the perfect home for continuing this mission and extending our impact in Teaching Strategies," said Emily Roden, founder and CEO of ReadyRosie, in a statement.
