Everyday Speech Social-Emotional Platform Adds Video Modeling

Teacher demonstrating skill

Everyday Speech is integrating new features into its social-emotional learning (SEL) offering for educators to personalize the teaching experience for each student using evidence-based strategies and tools.  The Social Learning Platform is now offering a full curriculum that gives teachers resources for different skills including emotional recognition, behaviors, conversation topics and problem-solving techniques.

To help teachers utilize these skills in the classroom, Everyday Speech has developed content that demonstrates how to use the curriculum to engage with students directly through video modeling. The platform is also tailored to meet the ends of teachers, private companies and parents and provides a personalized dashboard for all users to create lists with their most relevant content.

The Social Learning Platform is aiming to take the "guesswork out of teaching SEL skills" through offering no-prep activities that are tailored to student needs and include lesson packets, worksheets and goal posters. Training videos will give platform users tips to navigate the various tools that the SEL solution offers. Posters and visual aids can also be printed for classroom or home use to help students retain skills.

The platform is entirely accessible online or through an iPad app.  Users can also download videos for offline use.

Everyday Speech is offering two tiers of its Social Learning Platform. Video-only content costs $99.99 per school year and access to the entire program available for $199.99. The company is also giving users the option to purchase the plans monthly.

More information about the SEL solution can found on Everyday Speech's website.
