Deadline Looms for Tech Micro Grants
The
deadline for the Educators
of America Micro Grant program is this Thursday, April 15, The
program awards $250 to $5,000 to individual teachers and others
involved in education for technology.
The
program is aimed at educators who are “in need of an effective
technological tool that will assist in bettering student achievement,
not only in your classroom but throughout your entire institution.”
Eligible organizations include K–12 schools (public and private),
STEM/STEAM centers and organizations, young adult education centers,
community organizations and ELL centers and organizations.
Applications
are reviewed for reasonableness, potential impact, measurability and
consistency with the aims of the grant program, among other factors.
Winners
will be notified in July. The next round of grant applications will
be due Sept. 15. Further information can be found at
