Securly Acquires Dyknow, To Combine Device Management and Monitoring Solutions Into One Platform

Securly, a provider of student safety and wellness monitoring solutions, today announced it has acquired device management software provider Dyknow.
The companies’ software products will be combined into a single unified platform, Securly said in a news release, and it will continue to expand Dyknow’s powerful Device Impact Measurement solution. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
For more than 15,000 schools worldwide, Securly’s AI-powered monitoring of student devices and school communications identifies references to bullying, self-harm, violence, and human-supported analysis of concerning activity by a team of specialists, alerting staff for proactive intervention. The company’s classroom management product is intended to help teachers to keep kids focused and productive, and Securly also offers a parent engagement platform to assist family involvement in students’ learning and online life.
Dyknow, founded in 2003, is best known for its Classroom Management and Device Impact Measurement tools, created to help teachers defeat distractions in the classroom, increase student engagement, and teach confidently with technology; the tools also provide data analytics to administrators and technology coaches to help measure the impact of school-issued devices and technology.
