Voting Open for $10K School Grant in Money Smart Kids Contest

The 6th annual Cha-Ching Money Smart Kids Contest, which awards $10,000 to a winning school determined by community voting, is now open for voting.

The contest, sponsored by Jackson Charitable Foundation and Discovery Education, invites the public to vote for their school of choice to win the grand prize of $10,000 for educator resources to support teaching kids about managing personal finances, according to a news release.

The grand prize also includes a $1,000 donation to the charitable organization of the school’s choice and an interactive, financial literacy event hosted by Discovery Education emphasizing Cha-Ching’s four foundations of financial education: earn, save, spend, and donate.

The contest is open to schools in the United States; anyone may vote once daily for their school through June 17, 2022. Learn more and vote at Cha-ChingUSA.org.

The contest is part of Jackson Charitable Foundation’s partnership with Discovery Education that provides free digital videos, lessons, and activities to help K–6 students learn fundamental financial skills. Learn more and access the financial education resources at Cha-ChingUSA.org.
