Turnitin Draft Coach Adds Support for Microsoft Word on the Web

At the ISTELive 22 conference, taking place in New Orleans this week, Turnitin announced that its Turnitin Draft Coach now integrates with Microsoft Word on the Web. It was previously available only for Google Docs.

Turnitin Draft Coach has three primary checking functions: grammar, originality and proper citations. It's designed to help students fix potential problems before they turn in their assignmentsThe solution is available for users of Turnitin Feedback Studio and Turnitin Originality.

“The most common forms of academic integrity issues are the result of skill and knowledge gaps,” said Turnitin Chief Product Officer Annie Chechitelli in a prepared statement. “With an increasingly complex research environment, students need reliable information and tools to help them understand how to properly credit their sources and convey their message—while they are writing.”

Turnitin is exhibiting at booth 518 at ISTELive this week.
