SchoolPass Launches VM+

SchoolPass has released its new VM+, combining visitor management and the SchoolPass Parent App.

The solution lets schools operate a visitor management system from an iPad and offers features like checking for custody situations, checking against the sex offender database, and a watch list, "allowing for instant accounting of students, staff, visitors, parents, and volunteers at your fingertips in an emergency scenario," according to the company.

It also offers parent engagement features and parent scheduling capabilities. The Parent App "allows for an added level of convenience and flexibility for parents managing their children's school attendance," according to the company. "With the app, parents can easily manage student schedule changes, including late arrivals or early dismissals that their child may need and also monitor any visitor management that is related to their child."
