Database Contains Scientific Articles

H.W. Wilson has expanded its long-standing partnership with UMI, a Bell and Howell company, to create a new database that will serve the information needs of the scientific and technical communities. Using Wilson Applied Science & Technology Abstracts as a springboard, UMI will release a full-text/full-image CD-ROM database containing complete articles from publications such as Mechanical Engineering and Water Environment Research. Abstracting will be available from March 1993 forward, with updates performed monthly. Wilson Applied Science & Technology Abstracts includes over 750,000 records and 1 million pages of information.
