Security Tools... DriveShield

Centurion Technologies is now offering DriveShield, a new transparent hard drive protection software that lets anyone who manages laptops and desktops reset a system back to its original configuration just by rebooting. The software write-protects the hard drive, making it impossible for the user to make changes inadvertently to the system and reducing the chances for data to be corrupted. If a user deletes a file, an administrator simply reboots the system to restore its original configuration. DriveShield creates a temporary storage area upon installation. When a user modifies a document on the hard drive, those changes are written to the temporary storage area. The document is then read from that temporary storage area, not the hard drive.
