FYI ... Building Bridges With the Middle East

In August, a group of 60 Arab students participated in “Building Bridges With the Middle East,” an exchange program sponsored by Nortel Networks Kidz Online (www.kidzonline.com), a nonprofit organization that supports the development of 21st century communications skills. The program taught students the basics of Web design and digital imaging, as well as allowed them to participate in a live webcast. The students are studying in the United States through a U.S. Department of State-funded scholarship program known as Partnerships for Learning, Youth Exchange and Study.
