Chicago District Moves to Video on Demand for Classroom Media

Park Ridge/Niles School District 64 (PRNSD) in Park Ridge, IL, is moving to CCC! Core Curriculum Content for its district-wide in-class content. The multimedia resource, provided by New Dimension Media, offers a library of standards-aligned video-on-demand content covering all subjects and grade levels.

With content partners such as Discovery Channel, Reader's Digest, Bill Nye The Science Guy, BBC Motion Gallery, and the National Science Foundation, CCC! offers more than 1,000 full-length educational video programs to its subscribers.

"We think this resource will provide a great solution for our teachers who wish to bring rich media content into their daily teaching," said Anthony Clishem, technology curriculum specialist for PRNSD.  "We are also excited about the possibility of using this media as a learning resource for classroom projects."

PRNSD serves two communities in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. The district enrolls more than 4,400 students in five K-5 elementary schools, two middle schools, and one special needs school.
