Harris Releases Cloud-Based Library Automation Suite for K-12

Harris School Solutions, an educational technology solution provider, has released an interactive cloud-based library management suite for elementary and secondary schools, titled EZSchoolLibrary.
EZSchoolLibrary incorporates two individual products: Junior Librarian, aimed at elementary school students, and Eclipse.net, designed for secondary school students.
Junior Librarian and Eclipse.net are both accessible using mobile apps and via browser on traditional computers. Students will be able to use Junior Librarian to access featured reads, detailed author information, and collaborative book reviews, among other resources.
Library staff will have access to a host of data-gathering features, such as resource loan information tracking, asset management report compilation, information on reader trends, and circulation figures.
Other features of Junior Librarian and Eclipse.net include:
- Full-color images;
- Multiple languages;
- Reading via the cloud;
- Library floor plans;
- Up-to-date resource tracking;
- Multi-site capability;
- Multimedia cataloging in a single database;
- E-book platform integration;
- SMS integration;
- VLE integration;
- MIS integration;
- AD integration;
- RFID/EM Security integration; and
- Renaissance Learning integration.
Currently, more than 15,000 schools worldwide use Eclipse.net and Junior Librarian library management solutions. EZSchoolLibrary suite clients receive support and training from Harris staff members.
