Students Can Access Admin. Info Via Kiosks, Safely

From a recent agreement between SCT Corp. and TouchNet, higher education users of SCT's BANNER and IA-Plus software will soon be able to access student information via on-campus kiosks. A highly secure interface between the programs and kiosks will provide round-the-clock access to data such as grades, financial aid award status, student account balances, class schedules and availability, etc. Students will also be able to immediately print out the information. TouchNet will offer local customization for each campus, as well as onsite services. TouchNet Information Systems, Inc., Lenexa, KS, (913) 599-6699.
