Ellen Romanow Named Associate Publisher, 1105 Education Group

CHATSWORTH, CA. October 16, 2007 -- 1105 Education Group, a division of 1105 Media Inc., announced today the appointment of Ellen Romanow as Associate Publisher of the business unit dedicated to serving the K-20 education technology community. Romanow will be responsible for sales and custom media across the growing division of print, online, and events. She will report to Wendy La Duke, Education Group Publisher.

Most recently, Romanow was Managing Director, Custom Media for 1105. Prior to that, she ran her own company, Custom Content Solutions, which provided custom media consulting, sales, and implementation services to publishers. Romanow also has held management positions at CXO Media, an IDG company, Reed Business Information (formerly Cahners Publishing Company), and Ziff Davis.
