Data Backup 3 Update Brings Support for Leopard

##AUTHORSPLIT##<--->

Prosoft Engineering has brought full support for Mac OS X 10.5 ("Leopard") to its backup and recovery system, Data Backup 3. The software remains unchanged otherwise.

Data Backup 3 is a Mac-only backup and recovery utility that includes automatic backups, support for backing up to multiple CDs or DVDs (a well as any mounted FireWire or USB drive or networked drive), the ability to create bootable backups, support for folder synchronization, the ability to create customized back-up sets, and the ability to back up even when users are not logged in, among other features. The new version 3.0.4 brings support for Mac OS X 10.5 and also incorporates changes from previous 3.0.x updates, mostly fixes for issues involving backing up to optical media.

Current Data Backup 3 users will be able to upgrade free through the software's auto-update feature. Updates from previous versions run $35. The full version of the latest release, as well as a trial edition, are available now as well. Data Backup 3 now supports Mac OS X 10.5, 10.4, 10.3, and 10.2.
