Adobe, KNS To Develop Digital Literacy Professional Development Programs

Adobe and Knowledge Network Solutions recently reported they're teaming up on a new project to bring educators up to speed on digital literacy. The announcement was made at the 2009 National Educational Computer Conference (NECC) this week in Washington, DC.

As part of the partnership, KNS and Adobe have developed four two-day workshops covering the use of Creative Suite 4 and the Adobe Digital School Collection focused on the theme of inspiring environmentalism. The two have also developed a one-day course on Acrobat Connect Pro and Presenter. The two-day courses include:

  • Inspiring Environmental Action Through Graphic Design;
  • Inspiring Environmental Action Through Web Design;
  • Inspiring Environmental Action Through Video Production; and
  • Inspiring Environmental Action Through Photo, Video, Audio and Web Media.

The one-day course focuses on staff development using Connect Pro and Presenter.
