Aten Intros HDMI Gear for Digital Signage

At this week's InfoComm 2010, happening now in Las Vegas, AV technology manufacturer Aten debuted two new HDMI solutions for digital signage in its VanCryst line of audiovisual components.

Included in the lineup is the HMDI Matrix Video Switch VM0404H, a four-port rackmount HDMI switch designed to route four HDMI sources to four HDMI displays or projectors simultaneously. It supports up to 1080p for HDTV and up to a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 (WUXGA) for computer displays. Multiple units can be combined to support up to 64 displays.

Aten also debuted its HDMI Video Splitter VS0108H, an eight-port rackmount video splitter that allows users to split one HD source to up to eight HDMI displays. Units can also be combined to support up to 512 displays.

The HMDI Matrix Video Switch is available now for $799.95. The HDMI Video Splitter is also available now. It sells for $399.95.
