LG Launches Laser and LED Projectors for Education

LG has debuted two new projectors in its ProBeam line of education laser projectors for large and medium spaces, as well as a new LED projector for small spaces.

The LG ProBeam BU70QGA Laser Projector is designed for large venues and offers a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 with a brightness of 7,000 lumens and a contrast ratio of 3,000,000:1. The laser light source offers a life of up to 20,000 hours. Other features include:

  • Automatic 25-point keystone adjustment;

  • Throw ratio of 1.53 to 2.45;

  • Lens shift of +/- 28% horizontal and +60%/-33% vertical;

  • 1.6x zoom;

  • HDR; and

  • Support for screen sizes from 40 inches to 300 inches (diagonal).

LG ProBeam BU70QGA Laser Projector

The other new laser projector is the ProBeam BF40QS. Designed for medium spaces, the BF40QS offers a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200, a brightness of 4,000 lumens, and a contrast ratio of 3,000,000:1. Other features include:

  • Four-corner keystone adjustment;

  • Throw ratio of 1.3 to 2.08;

  • Lens shift of 20% horizontal and 50% vertical;

  • 1.6x zoom;

  • HDR10; and

  • Support for screen sizes from 40 inches to 300 inches (diagonal).

Finally, the PF510Qc is an LED projector designed for smaller spaces, offering a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080, a brightness of 450 lumens, and a contrast ratio of 150,000:1.
