Monitor Supports Multimedia Inputs

The PD 5029 C is a new 29" multimedia display from Philips Professional Products. It handles both television signals and computer signals.

The monitor features a Blackline-S Ultra Flat picture tube that offers improved viewing angles and less reflections. It also supports VGA display modes up to 640 x 480, with automatic system detection.

The Dynamic Contrast feature automatically optimizes contrast of each picture, and the unit has "smart controls" for sound and picture.

Other notable features include 100W stereo Hi-fi sound with dynamic bass enhancement; NTSC/PAL/SECAM/VGA playback; digital noise reduction; built-in closed caption decoding; Active Loop Thru for easy "daisy chaining" of units; picture freeze; and constant or variable audio output.
