As of September 30, 1999 there were 472 e-mail addresses (of which 105 are Web-based e-mail homepages), and 523 WWW homepages known for the 540 members of the 106th Congress. More traditional ground mail addresses are also available.

The Channel One Network has created a guide for the parents and guardians of teenagers who watch the Channel One Network in schools and on the Web. The site helps parents get involved with what their children are experiencing, in school and out. It broadcasts the daily Channel One show and gives them the tools they need to share their children's learning experience at home.

The INET Library is composed of 70,000 scrutinized volumes, screened in two ways: allowing no pornographic sites, and aligning the educational links to current curriculum trends for credibility and usability in the classroom. It has over 10,000 books, 3,500 links to periodicals, encyclopedias, thesauruses and dictionaries, maps and atlases and much more.

The United Nations' global teaching and learning project has all kinds of resources, teaching modules, classroom activities and on-going events on global issues like human rights, health, poverty and more. There is also a virtual guide to the UN, as well as information on its member countries.
