Prentice Hall and Microsoft are offering teachers special packages of the publisher’s social studies textbooks along with selected Encarta multimedia reference software. For example, The American Nation textbook packaged with Microsoft Encarta Encyclopedia is now available for half the regular cost of the textbook and software separately. Products available in these combination packages include Prentice Hall’s history, government and geography textbooks, along with Microsoft’s Encarta Encyclopedia, Encarta Africana and Encarta Interactive World Atlas. Also, with each textbook/encyclopedia package purchased, students and teachers will receive free access to Encarta Online Deluxe through Dec. 31, 2000.
