Celebrating the fact that Spanish-speaking people are now considered the largest minority group in the United States, bilingual children's book publisher Globo Libros is bringing the Spanish/English picture book Ruben's Rainbow/El Arco Iris de Ruben online in its entirety. Written by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Carlos Harrison and illustrated by his wife Grizelle Paz, the book is about a little boy who journeys from a black-and-white world to one bursting with color. Libros is planning to publish the second Ruben book in spring 2002, with a third book planned for next fall.
