Bellevue Deploys Hosted Apps for 24/7 Access

Bellevue City Schools in Ohio is deploying technologies from ClassLink to allow students and teachers to access instructional software from their schools and homes. The district is also using ClassLink's Information Console (CLiC) to manage software licenses and access.

LaunchPad allows teachers and students to log in from school-based or remote systems to access all of the schools' available applications. It also includes collaboration tools (chat, desktop sharing), calendars (with support for Apple iCal), a printer manager, a user manager, and file sharing capabilities.

CLiC is a tool that allows admins to monitor software licensing, map printers to users or locations, run reports, and modify the look and feel of the ClassLink system.

Bellevue City Schools serves about 2,300 students from four Ohio counties in five elementary schools, on junior high school, and one high school.
