Educational content provider Facts on File has once again expanded the range of multimedia materials on its reference sites, adding new videos to its history databases, including African-American History Online, American History Online, American Women's History Online, and Modern World History Online.

Facts on File provides subscription-based, curriculum-oriented online content in geography, history, health, literature, and science, as well as various other instructional resources, such as teacher handouts, forms, and career guidance. Earlier this month the company boosted its science content with videos, graphical materials, and audio for its Science Online site; now four of its history sites have also added hundreds of videos.

African-American History Online has added 70 videos covering arts, civil rights, politics, and sports. American History Online has added more than 500 historical videos covering wars, American culture, and politics. American Women's History Online has added 60 videos. And Modern World History Online has added some 300 historical videos.

The videos include newsreel footage and are in both color and black and white. All videos can be viewed in full-screen mode and include textual descriptions of the content and links to related materials. More information can be found at the link below.
