eInstruction Launches Content Meets Technology Sweepstakes

Ed tech developer eInstruction has partnered with Knowledge Delivery Systems (KDS) to kick off the 2009 Content Meets Technology contest, which gives teachers a chance to win classroom technologies by providing extremely short descriptions of the online tools they use in their classrooms.

Those wishing to enter must submit their thoughts on the role of technology in education using no more than 250 characters. Entries will be posted on a Google Map mashup on eInstruction's Web site.

Prizes will be awarded in three grade categories: K-5, 6-8, and 9-12, one for each group. Prize packages will include:

  • Interwrite Mobi handheld wireless tablet;
  • 32-Pad CPS RF clicker system (Classroom Performance System);
  • ExamView Assessment Suite and Learning Series;
  • Interwrite WorkSpace 8; and
  • Free training, support, and software upgrades.

In addition, six winners will be offered the opportunity to take a three-credit online graduate course provided by an accredited KDS university partner. Winners will be able to select from 16 courses being offered in the promotion.

The sweepstakes is open to all schools now through May 15. Winners will be announced May 22. Further information can be found here.
