ParentLink Enhances E-Mail Communications

ParentLink has released a new suite of e-mail tools for its communication platform designed to improve e-mail communications between schools and parents.

Called TruSend, the new tools provide additional features for enhancing ParentLink's e-mail communications.

ParentLink is a communications platform for K-12 schools that provides messaging, mass notifications, and emergency alerts via phone, e-mail, SMS, TTY, Web, fax, and pager, as well as social media outlets like Facebook and Twitter. It also offers automated translation into 35 languages, mobile apps for both administrators and parents, and geographic mapping for targeting messages to people in specific areas of the district.

With the new TruSend features, ParentLink adds the ability to create and send e-mail newsletters, send out surveys via e-mail, and distribute secure account information via e-mail, including logins and passwords. It also adds improved reporting capabilities (including bounce detection and the ability to detect which users have received and opened a particular e-mail) and new tools to help improve the appearance of school-created e-mails (including templates, support for images, and HTML editing tools).

TruSend is available now as part of ParentLink. The enhanced features are available as a free upgrade to current users. Additional details can be found on ParentLink's site.
