Polyvision Launches iPad App, Whiteboard Package

PolyVision has launched a new iPad app, an interactive classroom package, and updates to several existing products.

The new package, Eno One, includes an Eno Classic whiteboard, an ultra-short throw projector, lesson development software, and an Eno Stylus. The solution is available in height-adjustable mobile, height-adjustable wall mounted, and fixed wall mounted configurations.

The new app, Splashtop for Eno, is designed to turn an iPad into an interactive whiteboard and allow users to control classroom whiteboards from anywhere in the room. Other features of the app include:

  • The ability to play Flash videos on the iPad;
  • Background templates;
  • The ability to search or edit desktop documents and apps from an iPad;
  • Sync-free access to media on a desktop computer; and
  • Annotations and email sharing.

A free 30-day trial of the app is available in the iTunes store.

The company has also introduced the new sound-enhanced Eno Flex, an interactive whiteboard featuring eight possible configurations of integrated dry-erase and tack boards. The sound is provided by Eno Play, a wireless solution designed with no visible speakers or amplifiers to reduce theft or damage.

The company's Fuse Visualizer has also been updated with "with enhanced TrueSnap and audio/video recording capability," according to a press release. TrueSnap automatically rotates scanned images and removes visual distortions caused by book bindings.
