New Web Site Launched Offers Software and Systems Training

John Wiley and Sons and the American Graphics Institute have partnered to launch a new subscription Web site, digitalclassroom.com, designed to serve as an online education and training resource for learning about software apps, operating systems, Web design and development, and graphic design techniques.

Features of the site include:

  • Access to more than 3,000 video tutorials and 50 digital books;
  • Videos and e-books for learning Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Apple, Web design and development, graphic design, photography, and more; and
  • Online engagement with instructors, authors, and other participants.

Group memberships include the ability to designate and manage instructors, create classes with private forums, add custom content and files, invite participants and students, access instructor-only content, create tutorials from the content library, assign content to participants, and utilize administrative tools to manage learners and participants, according to the Web site.

"Digital Classroom users get access to the highest quality instructors for learning creative software, Web design, Web development, and office applications," said Christopher Smith, president of American Graphics Institute. "Everyone now has affordable access to a comprehensive e-learning environment including video tutorials, digital books and discussion groups with our educators. Introductory subscription rates are $20 per month or $120 annually for single users, with discounted rates for groups larger than 10 users.
