TabPilot 3.0 Adds Remote Monitoring, Screen Freezing

TabPilot Learning Systems has unveiled TabPilot 3.0, the newest version of its tablet management tool with the ability to remotely monitor student devices and freeze screens throughout a class.

The new monitoring feature allows teachers to view multiple student screens at once as thumbnail images, select an individual screen for a larger view and print the image with the device's name and a time stamp.

The screen freeze tool allows instructors to send a custom message as they lock students out of their devices.

Other features new to this version include:

  • District-level management tools;
  • The ability to sync apps and files wirelessly and automatically; and
  • Support for Nook tablets.

"We've worked hard on TabPilot 3.0 to incorporate ideas and suggestions from teachers and administrators," said Jarrett Volzer, president of TabPilot Learning Systems, in a prepared statement. "The system has improvements throughout that will make managing tablets even easier."

More information about TabPilot 3.0 is available at tabpilot.com.
