WebAssign Adds 23 New Math Texts

WebAssign, a provider of online instructional tools, has added nearly two dozen new online math textbooks from publishers including Cengage Learning, John Wiley & Sons, OpenStax College, W.H. Freeman and Worldwide Center of Math.

WebAssign's digital textbooks, totaling more than 900 titles, focus on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) topics for secondary and higher education students and allow instructors to use questions to create assignments, quizzes or tests.

Spanning disciplines such as prealgebra, calculus and statistics, sample questions for the 23 new texts are currently available.

"As a benefit corporation dedicated to education, we are pleased to provide professors with a selection of more than 450 mathematics textbooks supported by WebAssign," said Jennifer Ferralli, WebAssign mathematics product manager, in a prepared statement. "Through our strong relationship with publishers, teachers and students benefit from a content-rich and enhanced online learning environment that fully complements the classroom teaching experience."
