Chalkable Launches Platform To Streamline Personalized Learning

Chalkable has launched a new digital learning platform, Chalkable Study Center, designed to bring together information, content and other tools for personalized learning.

"Chalkable Study Center connects a digital classroom toolset, content library, prescriptive learning engine and assessment system through an intuitive, collaborative interface to the student information system (SIS)," according to a news release. "Incorporating these tools and content into one system enables streamlined workflows, secure collaboration and real-time analytics on student performance and engagement."

Chalkable is designed to improve efficiency for teachers by combining lesson plan creation, assignment posting, standards-aligned content, assessments and grades in a single location. Students can use the Study Center for supplemental learning, with content and tools proactively assigned to meet their individual learning goals.

"The feedback from our teachers on the Chalkable Study Center solution and professional learning has been extremely positive," said Teresa Thomas, director of student information services at Birmingham City Schools, in a prepared statement. "They like that everything is in one location and easy-to-use and that the Chalkable Study Center solution, along with the training, works with the resources they already have been using in their classrooms. Having one solution really helps all of our staff stay on the same page, and most importantly, focus on the individual learning path for each student."
