ONEder, OpenEd Partner on Resource Library for Students with Disabilities

ONEder, a special education learning management system provider, now integrates with OpenEd, an educational resource library for K-12. The partnership provides educators using ONEder with access to the OpenEd resource library.

According to information from the company, ONEder supports educators implementing universal design for learning (UDL) strategies in the classroom. The special education LMS helps them "provide accommodations for students with special needs" and "track data to show progress toward IEP [individual education plan] goals and state standards mastery," according to a news release.

OpenEd's educational resource library includes lesson plans, videos, games, homework assignments and assessments for language arts, math, science and social studies for all K-12 students. With the integration of ONEder and OpenEd, teachers in inclusive classrooms can take advantages of OpenEd's personalized resource recommendations for all students, while using ONEder to provide modifications and track data for their students with special needs.

"This partnership marks a major milestone towards inclusive education," said Jonathan Izak, president and founder of ONEder, in a prepared statement. "Students will finally be able to fully participate in classroom lessons as a whole instead of the segmented experience many students face today."

Dan Haskell, VP of business development at ONEder, said he thinks the integration of OpenEd with ONEder "will be a huge timesaver for teachers and professionals who spend hours developing lessons."

Further information about ONEder and its integration with OpenEd can be found on ONEder's site.
