Follett Simplifies Access to Destiny Help

A company that produces software to help schools manage their library and media collections has launched a new portal to simplify how people get support, learn about updates and find out what kids are reading. Follett has opened a one-stop resource center that provides access to product documentation, how-to videos and other forms of support, as well as content discovery tools that report on trends in titles and themes.
"Our new Resource Center not only gives our customers one place to go for all of their questions and needs, but also helps to raise awareness about our latest products and updates, such as Destiny 14.5," said Nader Qaimari, president of Follett's school solutions division, in a prepared statement.
Qaimari noted that a "Discover Content" section will allow teachers to stay up on trending titles and themed collections, watch interviews with authors and artists and monitor constantly updating top-10 lists of what K–12 students are reading. (Though how much those rankings change day by day is a matter for debate.) Right now, in elementary school, Diary of a Wimpy Kid books are the only titles on the list; in middle school, The Hunger Games leads, followed by The Maze Runner; and in high school, To Kill a Mockingbird tops the ranking, followed by Lord of the Flies.
