The Character Tree Offers Free Lessons for Black History Month
The Character Tree is offering free subscriptions to its Black History Month video resources through the end of the school year.
According to The Character Tree, “The videos highlight the character traits of bravery and curiosity while recognizing the achievements of Ruby Bridges, Simone Biles, Mae Jemison and George Washington Carver.”
The offer includes 32 videos and 32 additional resources, for a total of about four hours of video content. The videos are standards-aligned and include a teacher’s guide and handouts for students.
