Studyfetch AI Tool Generates Video Explanations Based on Course Materials

AI-powered studying and learning platform Studyfetch has introduced Imagine Explainers, a new video creator that utilizes artificial intelligence to generate 10- to 60-minute explainer videos for any topic. The tool uses course information, study guides, and other teacher-approved documents to meet the needs of students from K-12 to higher education and beyond in an efficient, cost-effective, customizable way, the company explained in a news announcement.

Users enter a video topic, select the desired length of video, and then choose from several recommended titles that fine-tune the video's focus. All videos are accompanied by a text video outline as well as transcript, and can be shared with peers. A "my videos" page allows users to manage and view all the explainer videos they have created. Users can also search for existing videos in the Studyfetch library of community-created content.

"This is a glimpse into the future of AI-generated educational videos for schools, universities, students, teachers, and parents," said Ryan Trattner, co-founder of StudyFetch, in a statement. "From learning how nuclear fission works, to an explainer on the Pythagorean theorem, to understanding a current event, Imagine Explainers is designed to create and provide personalized educational content for all in a visual format."
