Angel Integrates Online Courses with LMS

Angel Learning has partnered with Class.com to bring that company's online courses to Angel's Learning Management Suite.

Angel LMS is an e-learning platform for both K-12 and post-secondary education. Class.com is a provider of online courses for secondary students for alternative education, virtual schools, credit recovery programs, and other types of programs. The currently company offers more than 50 courses.

"The key to success for any electronic curriculum lies in sophisticated courseware available on a scalable, extensible Learning Management System, complete with all necessary communication tools, web research capabilities and comprehensive standards-based curriculum resources," said Katherine Endacott, president and CEO of Class.com, in a statement released last week. "The Angel LMS provides these required components, and the openness of the Angel LMS will allow for local customization of Class.com courseware. We look forward to partnering with Angel Learning to meet the needs of our mutual customers and the quickly growing Angel community."

Through the partnership, Class.com's courseware will be made available directly through Angel LMS.
