Florida Education Chancellor To Close FETC Conference

Frances Haithcock will lead the closing session at the FETC 2009 conference being held January in Orlando, FL. Haithcock is Florida's K-12 public schools chancellor who took office at the beginning of 2008.

Haithcock will lead a town hall-style session, answering questions submitted by audience members prior to the event. Those who wish to submit questions can do so by e-mailing [email protected] with the subject line "Closing Session Question."

As previously announced, the opening session at FETC 2009 will be led by Philippe Cousteau, president of EarthEcho International, a non-profit organization focused on environmental awareness.

The FETC 2009 conference will be held Jan. 21-24 at the Orange County Convention Center in Florida, and the closing session will take place at 3 p.m. EST Jan. 24. Further details, including registration, session information, and speaker bios, can be found here.
