TI Offers Online Technology Training

Texas Instruments is now offering Teachers Teaching with Technology (T3) Online, a Web-based training program that allows teachers to take technology courses online at their convenience. T3 Online can also be used as a refresher course for teachers who have been using the technology in their classrooms, but have not recently received training.

Training modules included in T3 Online are written by practicing teachers who are experts on using handheld education technology in their own classrooms. Teachers logon to http://education.ti.com to access each course, which contains a series of hour-long modules, representing 30 hours of training that must be completed in four months. Technology courses for algebra are currently available for CEU credit, while additional math courses will be available in coming months.
